Chameleon Chip: Front Switch Or Back Switch

i have the matrix modd chip and its awesome .. i got the single toggle switched @ the back of my xbox and it works great ...

now, i recently purchase a chameleon switch ... looks good but reading the installation manual saying that in MODE 4 .. you dont need switch @ the back but you can enable or disable your modd chip from the eject button ...

has anybody used this option??
