Make sure you create a dummy file at least 50MB in size which is alphabetically before the bios file.

Make sure you follow the EXACT ISO settings described in the guide.

Make sure you use CAPS when you rename your bios to LINUXBIO.BIN.

It gave me problems before but worked fine when I followed the instructions properly.

The DOA Easybuy2000 chameleon I got didn't even get that far. No Cromwell bios, no screen, no blue light, not flashable with the programmer. It's on it's way back now.

edit: get it from JD instead. no wait, and it works!

I was told buy easybuy2000 tech support that because I have the 1.5 Xbox that i HAVE to use the matric programmer to flash the chip and that it MUST be flashed prior to installation. Can anyone confirm this? I am following the instructions to the letter provided by xodus-chip.com and every time I go to write the EvoXM7 bios to bank 0 in mode 1 it give me an UNKNOW FLASH! error. CAN ANYONE HELP??? I am able to flash my old matrix xhip with the same settings and programmer with no issues whatsoever. I just got this chameleon and solderless adapter last week so I am assuming its the LE version.

If you got it from Easybuy you DID NOT receive the LE.

same here, i got nothing.  damn thing was completely blank.  fohk easybuy2000.  I too, have ordered from JD.  Mine should be here tomorrow.  we shall see how it goes.  If it even turns on, i've come a lightyear beyond easybuy's crap.

Can we get a sticky warning about buying from them put up maybe?  So many have been ripped off it's to the point of absurdity.
