I understand now that the Chameleon could be turned off by editing evox.ini.   But being the idiot I am I did something wrong.   I have not touched the DIP switches they are still in the factory mode booting in Bank 1.  For some stupid reason I flashed Bank 1 with the MS Dash instead of editing Evox.  It boots to the MS Dash and doesn't read cd-r's cr-rws or anything.  Before I crack it open again, I just wanted to know what mode to switch the DIPs so I can boot my EvoX disk again.  Or am I SOL?

what exactly is on the factory banks?  is the cromwell bios or the x2 4977 still on the chameleon?
