Yeah I know, but as I said I was told to remove the solder.

I was refering to the rivets, I am having a nightmare getting them all in.

Keep at it...or solder the chip.  Either way it is worth it.

What do you mean by "Rivets"? What do they do? Plug the holes in 1.1 - 1.5 XBoxes or some thing?

Okay I was just making sure that what I was reading and what I was thinking were two in the same.

Just out of curiosity, how well dose solder stick to them? I have to install some X2s in 1.1 XBoxes and these goodies sound like they would keep me from having to do a header pin install or having to waste alot of solder by putting the wires in the holes.

Thanks for the advice,

I am having real problems getting the rivets into the lpc holes, so I might soloder instead. Problem is now 5 of the holes have rivets in!

Anyone have any experience of getting rivets out, or any further ideas?

Also, my xbox boots as normal - does this mean the D0 is not being made (I thought it removed power from the original bios)?

Thanks guys
