A Success Installation
« on: November 13, 2003, 07:26:00 AM »

Well guys i will share wit you how i did my installation i hope it might work for you to.
1. I clean all my lpc port with alcohol and qtips, you should have seen they are dirty. So black. Clean at least three or four times. I did mine three times until there is no present of dirt or rotten thing on it.

2. if you don't have a lot of light around you use a flash light to help you see  if you are aligning the solderless adapter correctly on top of the lpc port. Now the golden wire that is attached to it, push it inside DO point, you will hear a sound when it goes in the DO point.

3. now once it is inside the Do point try again to repositiont the adapter if you have not screw it down and push it down with you hand, while you are pushing it with your hand use the flash light if it is position, if it is positition now start screwing it down. Screw down tighter so that it won't go out of position now.

4 once everything is position put the chameleon on top of the adapter and turn on you xbox and connect the rca cable that goes to the tv and your chip should flash  with led blue light that is on it. And you should see a linux crownwell screen on your tv. if you have the lastest one

5 Last is flashing the chip follow JonDante tutorial on how to create a bios CD. When the xbox boots with the crownwel bios  and you should see a Cd something like that or just press A button when you can see the crownwell bios and it should ask you for a Cd. Put the Cd in the drive and close it and it should flash the chip in less than 5 second no more than that. If it is taking so long it means that you have a corrupted bios. Mine took less than 5 second to flash with  xecuter 4977.

Well good luck and  i hope it will help anyone in any ways.

(Remember to clean the lpc port with alcohol, all of them and i have a Xbox 1.1 so all of those who has 1.1 this should work for you)
