after you have the adaptor installed you just plug the chip into it. are you saying your chip doesnt have the plug.

Are you sure it doesnt have holes or is the pin header adaptor in the plug and need to be removed

what do u mean? i mean it has holes but not on the side that the tutorial show it should go in

the plug should be right next to the soldier slot or long hole in the board and should have 12 holes

the only thing that has twelve holes has lil pins coming out of it

That should be the pin header plug for a different install and should look like it pulls out

I think you should focus on making sure the chip works before you do anything else. Sad thing is i dont even have that chip.

ok well i turned on the x box and the normal screen comes up, i did everything tha the turorial said... what is wrong?

Well now you have it installed but you don't mention anything about a bios being programed on the chip. If it has a bios some bios's look exactly the same as the original so color the X logo with xbtool so you know its working. Also check other posts where all of the question you may come up with have already been replied to.
