My first guess is that you do not have the stock video adapter that came with your XBox...am I correct?

If so..read my tutorial.  If not give me more details.

Who knows, but not using the stock adapter is the problem.

I think i really messed up my xbox because the green/organge thing keeps flashing with or without the chip. Although with out the chip the tray opens. Any ideas ?

I finally bought the AV cable today it works, But my CD TRAY DOES NOT OPEN WHATS UP WITH THAT MY MODE STAYS Green and not orange or anythig.

It stays green....hmmm.

Please be very specific.  Does your Chameleon light blink bright blue?  Do you get a screen now?  What do you see?  Is there any message about inserting the BIOS disc?

check the yellow cable as wella sthe socket it conects to (both ends) of the cdrom player .. u might have not plugged it in corectly or bent a pin ..

i fixed the cd tray but now the Linux screen says Settings mode not dpne yet =)
Please reboot and try again.
