When i got to install my new hdd, and i put in the evox boot disc, it gives me "error 16 dashboard files missing". Can someone help me install this new drive. I need to boot to the cd.

Yea u need to get your dashboard back, id definitely reccomend slayers since you dont have anything on there, and im guessing you dont have a backup of ms dash files.

to "find out" more about slayers install cd, visit their channel on efnet, i really forgot wat it was lol, if i remember ill edit this post, someone else should be able to help u out tho

since the xbox always boots to the dvd drive first, then you most likely burned your evox cd incorrectly. try burning the image again. if you need more help, go to the tutorials section at xbox-scene.com

It's possible that it's not reading the CD correctly and tries to read the dashboard from your hard drive. This would be remedied by using different media.
