Chameleon Quick Solder...

sad.gif  I paid for nothing. so I go to the store to buy a solder kit . and I solder the main LPC points and the D0. the xbo frags. I check them again to make sure contact is there... I am sure, I tri to change the switches, xbox frags... and the light of the chameleon doesn't light up...


PLEASE HELP!!! ANY help would be appreciated thanks...

it seems you may have damaged something, make sure you're not shorting anything. also, try removing the chip and see if it boots.

happy.gif.  Much easier then trying to screw AND hold it.  Oh, I felt stupid when this happened, but... make sure you don't put the cham on the adapter backwords... omg... I still remember my first time...

I've done about 4 Xboxes with this method, worked on the first try every single time.

Make sure you have the gold plated wire in the D0 point.  What me and my friends do is get it in there, push down on the wire a tad bit, and kinda tap the case to make sure it's in good.

I don't understand why people have so much problems with it... make sure you push down hard on the adapter as you screw it in... hell, look at the adapter from the sides when aligning (the Xbox case is semi-see-through from the sides with no lid anyways) and make sure you keep it there good and pressed down as someone screws it in tight for you.
