Anyone used this feature on the Chameleon, i presume it grounds the a15 point but how is it enabled ?

it is not recomended to play arouns with your onboard bios .. especialy just to make use of the a15 line

Played around a little with the Chameleon,
havent got this little bastard to flash my bios.

Well, TEAM-XODUS.

One little question that maybe can explain why i can´t flash the bios.
Can the Chameleon flash a bad tsop?
Lets say, I flashed a v 1.1 xbox with a v 1.0 bios.
Can the chameleon still flash over the bios, reviving my xbox from death?
Or does only the d6 tsop work on properly tsops? (Fresh tsop that haven´t been screwed)

This maybe can answer my question..

I am by no means a software eng, but from the little I do know .. I don`t think it will work, the current tssop bios is based on the fact that you have a partialy correct (up to a15 ) bios on your mobo tssop ..

the diff between v1.0 and v1.1 are before a15

if u want to repair your box .. u can always set up a 29 wire home brew ? .. or wait a while there is a chance another tssop bios could be made that will work for your situation ..

I need time to do a TUT but heres a brief version for you


Put your mod chip in and transfer the audio signed pheonix bios loader
(you will need to copy xboxdash to pc (as a backup) and overwrite xboxdash on your xbox to a live version, needed to make this work)  
(these are found in the usual places)

Follow instructions in the zip file to put the files in right places, take your mod out, reboot, put an audio cd in, select copy track (in instructions).
Flash bios, your done!

I know this is a bit comp but i am working on a tut!

But their is an easier way,

It will cost you a game to do.

You need to get 007 AUF ( can be bought as a classic release for 20 quid).
use your mod to transfer 007 auf with evox file ( also in the usual places ).
Remove your mod and boot.
Run 007 and load the save.
Evo-x will load, Flash bios!
Done!

I would suggest putting the latest version of D6 bios into the  bios folder of the file you are going to use.

By the way this can be done using any version xbox and any modchip!

I think ill be able to fix my other machine with one of my 2 enigma-29-wire-model-recovery-chip.
Just take some time, but hey, that´s what you get when you are stupid.. =)
Think I´ll use the other as a expensive door-stopper.  

Correct me if I wrong..but your methods wont help me.. =)

Think I´ll buy another one for my other box.
Or switch teh chameleon and by an apple pro for the other.

Probably doesn't work because, your method only works with 1.0 Xboxes.

For your info!

I can now confirm that the tsop d6 bios works, for it to run it has to have a full cold boot, then it will run.

It can be flashed into any bank then you need to select the bank you've flashed it too and it boots.

I would use bank 0 as you can leave it in mode 1.
