Fix A Fried Tsop With Chameleon
« on: September 05, 2003, 08:49:00 AM »

Still looking for a good answer here - I know it's possible to reflash a good tsop with chameleon, just reboot to tsop in evox and flash ( a15 connected, and both jumpers grounded) - But what about a bad tsop, or even a stock one - what is the proceedure for gaining access to the tsop after booting to the lpc with this chip?

Please don't respond with "I guess" or "I think", There's been a ton of that here, and  We need a good answer.  I'd rather hear from team Xodus the real proceedure or "stick a fork in it"...

candyman

the correct way to use the "d6 tsop bios" is by flashing one of your chameleon banks with it .. then changing to that bank ( preferably by hard switch .. so that you boot using that bank ) if everythign is set up correct and and there is enough correct data in your tssop your xbox should boot into evo-x dash as normal .. when u go to flash you should now get the Winbond - W49F020 .. you now choose the bios u want to put into the tssop and flash it .. making sure that the bios will work !!!!

THERE IS VERY LITTLE REASON TO PLAY WITH YOUR TSSOP BIOS ... As many have already experianced it is very easy to damage the tssop image and get "locked out" .. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT U ARE DOING !!
