Why don't you just boot the onboard BIOS (TSOP) through EvolutionX? That's how I do it for Xbox Live play.

The a15 is only needed if you want to flash the tsop.  I have a 1.3 chameleon with the x2 4977 and have no problem.  What mode is your chameleon in and do you have the right sized bios installed, or are you trying to run a 512k bios in a 256k space.  If you totally remove the chip what happens.  Frag or does it boot?

how bout the clock... has it been set in msdash?  I'm presuming you haven't swapped hard drives...

i found this was actually due to using an IBM drive. replaced with a seagate and no problems.
