ok meagvega, then id have to say
1. you didnt do a very good job
2. Adapter is broken
3. corrupt bios

but the problem is that DEFINATLY that one or more of the LPC points arnt getting through to the chip, your d0 is fine though

crocefisso: i hope those rivets help. they are supposed to help, but what you should do until you get them is ceck your d0
and if the spring is making good contact, once you get it to work or get it to flash red and green, yourw on your way, yes
you want it to flash red and green and reboot three times, that means your d0 is good

since it isnt flashing red and green, then im pretty sure that there is a d0 problem the d0 problem i had was that the
spring was going through the d0 via and was toughing the metal sheilding on the bottom, so what i did was put a piece
of tape under the d0 point on the metal shielding

With the solderless adapter, do you still have to solder in the P and E points to use the mode 4 functions? Do you need to solder P and E points to use the eject trick that turns off the mod?

Thanks

I hope too... But i sent several mails to easybuy and they don't seem to answer.
My Do connection is bad, but LPC too. 5 or 6 times i had the 3 reboot stuff, but most part of time, i have the ms bios/dash. It means that when my Do is well connected my Lpc holes are not.
I will try the tape stuff, thx for the advise.

i know, my tuto sucks ... but it's my first. I'm going to make a new one soon.
auburn, u've got to download a bios (xecuter for exemple) and a dashboard (evox is one of the best). U can find those on mirc ( #[email protected] ). U can find tutos on  the xoodus site or on xbox-scene

you'll need to solder in P/E even with the solderless adapter
