Anyway I wont bore you with the details.
Doing everything correctly I cannot get ANY LED to appear on either of the chips I am now installing for friends.
I have tried multiple computers, different battery, but for some reason when I plug the progammer into the port all I get is a weak little half red half green flicker.
Supprisingly WinLPC DID flash BIOS onto the chip even though there was no light, so I then tried to install the chip, and no matter where I had it, I saw NO LED at ALL, not red, not green nothing (actually I got a pathetic orange looking light when I had it WAAAY off from alignment)
What could this problem possibly be?
Am I getting no LED b/c there was no LED when I programmed it?
Battery issue?
Are both chips bad?
ANY help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
