OK I read another post similar to mine but they were saying if the xbox is fragging then d0 is fine it must be the pin headers, but I unplugged the D0 and the modchip and it still frags on me. This means its the pin headers isn't it? will the Chameleon boot or do something else besides frag with out d0 and the modchip if I keep trying to solder the pins in and turn it on?

Also does it make a difference that I have only unsoldered the points that the pin headers need and I left the others filled

If your getting frag with the D0 disconnected from the Chameleon,
then somthing is messed with your D0. With the D0 disconnected
the Chameleon isnt there in the Xbox's eyes. With the D0 not connected
the Xbox should boot from the on board TSOP/bios.

even if I have the pin headers soldered in the board, it should still boot to the regular Tsop? Cause i was booting to the regular Tsop before I solder the pin headers. Once I soldered the pin headers in the Xbox wouldn't boot to Tsop, I will try to boot it now with out the pin headers and let you know since I just screwed the pin headers and need a new one.

well then I am in trouble my xbox is not booting to Tsop when d0 is not soldered in. I guess this means I just screwed it up huh?
