1)What version XBOX?

2) Did you already flash the Chameleon??  With the programmer or something?

3) What mode is the Chameleon in?

You might need to scrape some of the laquer from the D0 point.  You must be careful though

i think i know what the problem is, the d0 spring is touching the metal shielding under the mobo, so what you should do is unscrew all the case screws and then turn it on, i had that problem too, but now i put a pice of tape on the metal sheilding right under the d0 point....

Will the spring on the solderless adapter touching the metal shielding under the mobo prevent the light from coming on / receiving power? In other words, I don't want to go through the trouble of testing your theory if regardless of a d0 problem, the light should still be on...

Thanks...

i dont think thats true, the d0 has to be connected for the light to go on... and the light only goes on for cromwell and while flashing...

sk8ermike6789, so the light won't go on for the Xecetuer bios? If that's true, that helps, a little.. At I know then not to expect the light to go on.. anyway, a lot of people are having problems with this, and your suggestion (putting tape under the mobo) is the only thing concrete I've heard so far. I know it may not work for everyone, but it's worth a shot..

Thanks..

Hello!
I suffered from the same "no light" prob after instaling the evox bios, but then the good people on this foruns told me that only cromwell bio put the "blues" on.
When i tried installing EvolutionX all worked fine,
hope this helped,

Nuno

I noticed if your using the matrix programmer the D6 bios works but not the 4977... so I just set it to bank 3, and Cromwell popped up etc etc...
excuse me now while I do a refund on adapter..

I have a xbox 1.1 without solder in the holes and my led doesn't come on. Also it just boots to the normal dashboard. I wiggled it around and can get the led to flicker but not stay on. I think that the adapter isn't making good contact in the LPC holes. I'm thinking of trying to fill the holes with solder first. If that doesn't work I guess I will have to do the header install.
