I have ordered two Matrix chips & Chameleons. I followed the instructions on Matrix webite to do the install and I have some issues that I want to understand before I go any future.
When I attempted to install the Matrix w/Chameleon add on (with the three traces cut), I could never get the light to go blinking green. I could get it to flash green once or twice, but then it would go red. I saw a few other posts on this but I wasn't quite sure what to make of this.
When I take my other Matrix chip that does NOT have the traces cut, and install it, I get a flashing green light. I enabled it (mode 2) with the Executer2 4977 bios, installed Evolution X, and everything is working fine.
What am I missing without having Chameleon installed at this time? I simply want to be able to backup games that my kids have so they dont destroy them (some are scratched so bad now its ridiculous).
