Well, you can get Xecuter light 2.1 at (i believe this addy is right) www.theconsolecorner.com, or try www.tcc.com, not sure...

But, The console corner has the 2.1 light e's

i dont know what is going on but i just installed another chameleon (13th) today, this time in a 1.2xbox (all others were 1.0's or 1.1's) and i STILL have not had a problem, given the price it is def the best chip out there.

The Matrix is by far WAY better than the X2 lite +.
To tell you the truth, the X2 lite + is pain in the padded ass to line up properly.
Your really flying blind when your installing it. Theres no indicator like on the Matrix telling you have it lined up right. If your going solderless, get the Matrix its just so much easier to install. Plus the X2 lite chips come flashed with the dreadful cornwall BIOS and your gonna have a fun time trying to get it off if you have a picky DVD-Rom drive. And that’s another thing that makes the Matrix better, is it comes with a programmer.

The only drawback I see if that it will only accept 256k BIOSes, but I don’t think we will see BIOSes over 256k for a long time.
