I had a major problem with my matrix chip on my v1.1 xbox with a phillips drive and a seagate hard drive. My problem was that i could not get it to work it would always be green and never blinked and never turned red so i installed it and i pushed in on the lpc pogo pins and the d0 pogo pin with 2 of my fingers and it would sometimes load my colored bios when i turned it on i would try to screw it in lightly and it would NEVER work. So i tried electrical tape and that didnt work. So i got this INGENOUS idea to cut a plastic cd (one of thoose plastic clear cds that come with blank cds to protect them) and i cut a strip and drilled 2 holes at the corners and I screwed it into the matrix hole and then i screwed it into another screw that was diagnol to the matrix screw hole and went over the 2 places i wanted to place presure. I turned it on and it worked i was amazed so i screwed everything back up and loaded evo-x and i havent had any troubles with it yet and i have accidently kicked it and brought it to friends houses.
Time Taken : over 8 hours of my life from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm and 9:00 am to like 2:00pm
