Chameleon Is No1. Hands Down

Blah blah solder blah blah.

If you can jar a _properly_ installed pogo chip out of place, I bet the amount of force you are using will also damage your xbox in other ways.

It is easy to solder in header pins and a d0 wire.  It's still EASIER to install a pogo chip.

Some people DO have a tough time aligning pogo chips, but it was a breeze for me after the first time.

To prove this point, buy a dozen header pin mod chips, a dozen pogo chips and two dozen xboxes.  Time yourself.

On a side note, I do think Chameleon is junk (especially considering all the problems folks are having), and if you go for the matrix-add-on install, all you're doing is turning a $50 mod chip into a $50 set of pogo pins (which is silly).

first of all the software control - albeit good - is only useful for those who use evox - i.e. it forces you to be tied to one dash

what about those that dont use evox ?

I'm sure that with enough people having a Chameleon installed, that most authors will add software control to there apps.

erm to do that evox have to release the source code

they ain't gonna do that i'm afraid

Does this mean you're going to up one and release the source code for nexgen?  rolleyes.gif
