Pogo pins suck, they are suppose to be easy but they are not. Mostlikely your d0 connection isn't making contact. You could try putting a wire through the d0 hole and connecting it to the top side of the pogopin.

I actually used a longer screw and then a bolt to push down the circuit board. Ah, I'm so relieved to see the serene green glow coming out the side of my Xbox.

Now I have to figure out how to get my damn Roxio program to burn a damn CD-RW correctly so I can install EvolutionX. Oh well, time to find Nero to download.....

hmm... how does a bolt help? even when i get it to flash green it still doesn't work... .aaaah!!!!!!!!


gonna try that wire thing... if that doesn't work, i'm gonna try to get one of those installers to solder it down for me.

Whats the best modchip out there whats the diffrence between the modchips I mean ive read alot and im thinking of buying the x ecuter 2 lite or ssoemthing like that i forgot the name is it any good also how do i check my xbox version i forgot i saw it around here or some other website a couple days ago.

jesus, how is this alignment so hard?  I had troubles getting it NOT to align correctly.  put the screw in, moved it a little, and then it stopped moving and the pogo pins snapped into place, and i couldn't move it any more.  everything was aligned and booted perfectly....

i think it has something to do with the matrix..... i just can't get the thing to align correctly. I get really weird flashing lights depending on where its place. flashing red and green at the same time, flashing once red and then green, flashing solid green.... and when this happens i still never get the blue X... the only time i ever get the blue x to come up is when i align it correctly, and then push down hard on the d0 pogo.....  if i put pressure on it, it works every bootup, but as soon as i take my finger off, it goes back to the green x..... no matter how hard i freaking screw it down same thing.... i even tried using a nut and bolt so i can screw it down reallly really tight....

anyone have any ideas? i tried the wire thing but the same thing goes.... even when it flashes green i get the green x....
