I still think the name 'Stealth' was very misleading, but anyway...

I agree, the term is misleading. However, i do not ever recall team xodus ever saying that stealth would allow for xbl hacking. That is something the scene assumed on its own.

Nope, they said nothing about it, and then they didn't even list it on their site with their major update that told the features of the chip.
How's that for information from the developers?

ACtually a CPLD programmer is nothing but a connection from your LPT port and a few rezistors to the CPLD, Some reffer to it as a JTAG and is really simple to build and cost is under a dollar.

Ouch, looks like you've never worked with JTAG interfaces before.  If you want reliable communications, you'll need to build a buffered interface with external power source.  Still only a few bucks, but a vast improvement over only little resistors.

the whole 'border inspection' thing was a load of crap, and everyone knows it.

The border part is most likely true. Since Canada didn't openly support the US on the invasion of Iraq, the US has been lightly screwing Canada over. One of way is by them causing artificial delays at customs between the countrys.

Unfortunately, I don't think the full details about this have been released yet.  Basically, you will have to cut 3 of the copper tracks on your MatriX chip in order to install the Chameleon onto it.  You will also have to solder 3 points (A15, Power, Eject) if you want to be able to use all of the Chameleon's features.  If you don't want to mess with your TSOP, you probably don't need to solder A15, and if you don't want to use the Power and Eject buttons to control chip functions, then you won't need to solder those 2 either.

Yes, they did not update their website with 'stealth' information, but who is to blame here for all the hype?

I think the 'blame' (that is if blame needs to be placed) has to be shared by both team xodus and the individuals who kept hyping 'stealth.'

The manual is out.. But they don't talk about how to solder the 3 points (A15, Power, Eject)....

I'm gonna wait before ordering it... Cause I don't think it's very professional of them to not give us a full ,detailed manual on how to install and use their product..

At my job I get stuff all the time that sits around for months and then the manual would show up all of a sudden.

It really not "not professional" cause it happens all the time in the busness world.

(in reality, they usually send something they call a manual with the item, but it really isn't and you have to wait for a "revision")
