First I have no problem but now is like 6 months and I turn xbox on but it just gets 3 times on and 3 times off. I have Xodus/Matrix in my chip. So I try to realign again but every time I turn xbox on I get service required for xbox and error 5 in top.

error 5 means you have not locked your hard drive. so your chip isn't alligned correctly. re-flash your chip. clean lpc with alchohol and then re-allign

But my hd was also not locked when chip was working.

Thanks, I used just instead of alcohol some aftershave spray and cleaned with that, also I re-flashed it and now boots again after only 1 aligment it boots just fine so you think pogo pins were dirty or was the bios in the chip suddenly messed up?

probably the lpc points were dirty, the inside of the xbox gets very dusty over time. i clean mine once a month to keep the mxcp chip from overheating

But what I now seems to have is whenever I eject the dvd player the screen jumps to the service screen and gives me error 5. And when I close dvd layer and boot xbox then is fine again. Why the hell such things happen suddenly.

you have the matrix in mode 3 which switches the mod off on eject, and error 5 means your hard drive is not locked so lock your hard drive using config magic
