I would not and DO NOT have a problem with having to wait my turn.  My only beef is that the easybuy web site touts their great customer service capabilities. Contact us anytime. When in fact you can't get in touch with anyone there anytime.  It would at least be nice if they had someone answering the phone and not giving the appearance that they don't give a $#|+ about the people that are giving them business.   I can't help but get the feeling that they only have 2 people working there and they spend most of the day in the loading docks.

Heh, actually it's probably only a few people who work there.

If you have a problem contacting them, try contacting them by e-mail or their online chat feature. They respond to all my e-mails within the business day. It's my first time dealing with them, and well... to tell you the truth I don't really know why ANYBODY complains. They respond to all my questions amazingly fast (knowing that they probably get thousands of e-mails a day). Maybe they're trying to turn the company around, whatever it is, it seems to be working   .

Once they charge your card, they have to ship in the number of days promised when you purchased the chip or else it's credit card fraud, right?

Just an update: my order # is 132xxx and still I have a pre-order status its already 5.22.03 and easybuys said they would have them 5.9.03.  Also their website says "in stock, ready to ship" which is a bunch of bullshit.  I wish there was a reputalbe company that did pre-orders for the chameleon.  The only good part is that they sponsor xbox-scene which has been invaluable to me.

I ordered a couple April 4 th. and I got a tracking number today to people an idea. Also my order number was #128XXX.

Does anyone know WHERE you use the tracking number they give you?  It doesn't look like UPS or FedEx (it's all numbers) and Canada Post doesn't recognize it.  Maybe it's just that they haven't entered it into the system yet.

Do you kids realize how many Chameleons were actually ordered? A TON. Just like the X2 series had a TON of people who ordered the chip (which in the end created a backorder for a lot of the X2 retailers). If you guys would sit back and relax a bit, I'm sure you'll see your chip in a couple of weeks (i'd give it anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on how early, or in my case, how late I ordered).
