For playing on Live use Matrix in mode 3(swap mode) with a Blue mod bios and all will be fine.

Just remember to always eject a game disc or DVD before you play on live to ensure that the Matrix is disabled first.
BLUE MOD means shit dude that's just the colour of the xbox logo...

Don't worry about YBOX use one of the latest bioses otherwise you can't play the latest media check games...Ybox is just so you don't rename the dash..All the latest bioses have multi dash compliance...You can use mode3 but besure to load the original bios before connection to LIVE...That's why switches are a good idea outside of the box so you manually can change the matrix switches..., and also led's etc....But mode 3 will do.....

Use mode 3 and a color BIOS so you can be sure you're booting the original BIOS when you want to play a Live game.  Be careful and you'll be good.  Doesn't hurt to disconnect the network when you have the chip active to avoid accidently connecting to live with your "backups".
