If you have a v1.1 fill the holes in the LPC with solder, if you have a v1.0 try realigning the chip and/or flashing the chip

smile.gif I dont care it works...barely even see it (not that big a deal)

I have a gut feeling that the when I used the external Matrix programmer the first 5/6 times! smile.gif it wasnt acutally flashing the BIOS on. I basically repeated the same steps below over and over for 6hrs smile.gif

1. Very first thing get the correct BIOS on there...
2. Take apart the XBOX and set both dip switches to ON (test mode1) then power up BOX (1.1 you should see the LED flash green real fast then flash red continuously) (1.0 should flash green continuously)
3. Next turn box off and place dips in Mode2 (Always ON) 1-off 2-on. When you turn the box on the green light should stay constant on and depending on the color BIOS you should see either Blue or Red XBOX logo.

*** If the system boots 3 times then the DVD eject flashing Red/Green you need to repeat steps above till you see the logo ***

As long as you see the Colored LOGO your set!

4. Create the boot disk... (I highly recommend the Slayer auto installer) Then your on yourown from here. Should be self explanatory (Or email me for details)

And you did this without putting solder in the LPC holes?
