you are not makin a connection with the d0 point
i had the same prob

the way i fixed it was i desoldered the other points and let the chip sit on the d0 point to find the point refer to the highres pic on the xbox-scene site but just make sure it makes the connections with all of the points or else that will continue so good luck alright

i still have the same problem. i filled the LPC holes of the xbox with tin and i cleaned the pogopins and the d0 with alcohol but nothing changes. the bitch still reboots 3 times and then flashes green/red and no screen or it just boots from the original bios (martix on mode2). when i turn the matrix in mode1 (testmode) it boots the original bios (led on matrix blinks green one time and then red).

i have xbox 1.1/matrix/evoxd6 noani bios

think i'm gonna solder a wire from the d0 to the chip since that seems 2b my last hope.

Use a fiberglass pen (radioshack) to remove the insulation enamel on the d0, alcohol is just for a dirty connection.

Your matrix still isn't making the connection to the d0 point.  You can:
(1) Turn on the xbox and wiggle the matrix until it flashes green, then hold it in place and tighten the screw down.
(2) Manually solder a wire from the pogo pin to the d0 on the motherboard.
