get it algined ........then put it in mode 2 and if ur bios buts ur goood.

Make sure  the G spot gets in its whole. even if ur light is busted u should still be able to get it aligned.

I am having the same problem, I have the v1.1 xbox though, apparently the lpc holes should be filled with solder in order to make a goo connection. It sounds like your have a similar problem

if d0 is bad your xbox boots to original bios, you dont frag unless the lpc points are in trouble. so most likely, its a bios issure

Well i seemed to have fixed it.  I took out the pogo that connects with the xbox mobo on my matrix and put a strand of cat 5 copper to act as the point.  it appears as if that pogo was just not making contact anymore with d0.  Not really sure what the hell would cause such a thing.  But i'm glad it's fixed.  I can have my life back:P j/j
