Okay here goes. I tried to add 2 external switches for my matrix from an idea i got in this forum. If you search matrix and switch you will see what i'm talking about. It involved soldering 3 wires: 1 to the ground where the screw goes in, 1 to the off of dip 1 and 1 to the off of dip 2.
When I initially did this is was successful, but I didn't make the wires long enough and there was too much stress on them so one 1 got detached. When I went to re-solder it back i must have messed something up because now i can get it to go into alignment mode.
It is acting like there is no mode 1, and mode 2 and 4 are the same thing, mode 3 is ok by the way.
I finally decided to just plain remove the dip switch entirely since what I am doing bypasses the dip anyway so it isn't necessary to be there. So I removed the dip and removed the solder i put on there and still nogo. I have examined it very closely and cant find any leads that are crossed.
Any ideas?
