mods are here to make things cheaper and to kill monopoly's
wut does xodus do?

instead of shipping out there matrix themseles they sell out to one of the shitiest companys who overcharge and have bull for support and customer service.

wut did they do? creted a monopoly. i didnt think modders where here to do that

i like there work but there sales decision definetly coulda been thought out a nit better

maybe they should release there diagrams to someone. or let the manufactorer send to someone else

cause i trust eb2k as but asmuch as i can through them

i like xodus but im just slamming there sales strategy. not the hwole team

i may change my order to the lite

i wanted to be able to flash my friends box's but i cant wiht the lite

maybe xodus should wake the hell up and get some other site onto the matrix

sorry, but that is not what mods are for, how would a chip even effect a monopoly....it wouldnt, if your using monopoly as a refernce to MS, Do you honestly think MS is effected, by an already failing xbox....their net profit isnt even 4 percent of xbox...

"wut did they do? creted a monopoly.".... Um.... I dont ever remember a time when the ONLY chip available was matrix... So if you need a no-solder mod that your own fault, there are alot of people here who are confident with a soldering iron, its no ones consern that your not.

as far as eb2k... if they cant get em in fast enough for your convinice thats too bad, order through someone else or get a different chip. I dont think matrix people planned to have eb2k make such a mess of things but thats the way it goes.

didn't xodus sell the plans and everything to eb2k? And they're the ones having the chips made? Unless you could figure out a way to get the plans from xodus and hook up with a fab in china, it'd be kind of hard to get chips from anyone but eb2k...

i ordered a matrix from gamebuy.com a couple days ago, and the guy said he still had some in stock. Had it shipped 2day fedex, still cheaper than eb2k.

Xodus didn't have the money to produce the matrix or the resources. They seeked out somebody who did (EB2k) and worked out a deal.

If you buy in bulk from EB2k, the price of matrix drops form 59 dollars to 41.30 if you buy 10 and I imagine it goes down a lot more than that after the 50 point. EB2k isn't ripping anybody off and they don't have a monopoly.

They simply produce and sell the chips.

NOW if they refused to sell in bulk to other mod sellers, then they would be a monopoly, but as is they're simply a company that produces and sells matrixs.

Is spotted horse still dealin'? I got mine for $45. You know what? Its worth $59... the xbmp functionality is worth that much to me. Why matrix - because no solder no fuss - just screw it in. Does that sound lame? Maybe - but it's in, working and can be taken out just as easy.

Everyone is out of stock.

I ordered from spotted-horse last Tuesday and today I received a refund (great service and honest company). The owner also had this to say:

Order has been cancelled and payment refunded.

Just be careful if you try to order a Matrix from anywhere else, since
everyone is having trouble getting them.

Easybuy2000 was raided by the RCMP and FBI recently. Their business operations have been completely shut down as a result and there is a lot of doubt that things will ever go back to normal. In a completely unsurprising move their web site still says the chips are in stock and they continue to accept orders, but no one is getting anything. Check out their support forums, it's really kind of sad.
