First of all, SEARCH!

But, take the chip out and clean the LPC points with some rubbing alchohol and realign, should help.

Oh, and Mode 2 is ALWAYS green, mode 1 = test mode.

Screw down your Matrix chip with a #6 x 1/2 screw. Your screw is loosening a little bit. The same thing happened to me after a few months. I replaced the original screw with the above one and haven't had a problem since.

My chip was lighting green too. It will light green even if it is not down all the way.

Trust me I loaded to the MS dash every time with the light on the Matrtix green. I would turn it off and on and every 1 out of like 5 times it would load my colormod bios. I replaced the screw and all has been well.

MODE 2 AND MODE 3 ARE ALWAYS A SOLID GREEN! (Except when you eject in mode 3 and it goes red)

BAH! Why does no one know this? Of course if you turn the Xbox sideways to look in you will see that color!
