Might want to use a slightly used battery.  I used a brand new battery, wouldn't work for the life of me.  I put in a battery from my friends little brother's toy, and it works like a champ.

That's the problem I can't even start the flashing because the winLPC can't find the PROGRAMER.

Yeh its a common problem. The programmers are dodgy,they are not pc friendly sometimes and don't like some pc settings. The first one I got took 5 pc's to work, the second one worked first time on my pc when the other one didn't. Keep trying more pc's generally the 5th one with work... biggrin.gif
