Just a thought, as I dont know exactly how your
system is setup.
Did you upgrade the hard drive? if so is the new
drive locked, the MS dash will not load
if the drive is not locked.

had same problem here...2 things to check

you are supposed to leave XBOXDASH.XBE alone. do not rename. on your c:

but you are supposed to also have a file called. EVOXDASH.XBE on your c:
see if you do.

make sure .. if your evox dashboard is NOT NAMED
DEFAULT.XBE in your c:
if it is RENAME it to EVOXDASH.XBE and reboot.

I was told to change to evo36.eject-fix.xecuter-enc.bin because I had the same problem you did.. BUT MY DUMBASS named the modded bios to EVOXBOXDASH.xbe
THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG.. but I didn't realize I screwed up before I changed to this bios.
either way would have worked if I didn't make that mistake.

RENAME FROM DEFAULT.XBE to EVOXDASH.XBE
make sure you have BOTH xboxdash.xbe (ms dashboard)
and EVOXDASH.xbe (evox dashboard)
both of the mentioned bios use this.
also I DID NOT need the ejctfix.. just its the one I used.. better without it.

Can't do any damage to try the standard D6 Bios - you will see the 'Matrix Inside' line at the bottom of the loading screen if it works so it defeats the point of needing the Colormod bios now
