Checkout my Matrix TSOP flash guide

You can connect the jumpers on the top and bottom of the mobo

OR

You can just connect the jumper on the top and solder a wire to the TSOP as shown in the pictures released w/ the TSOP flash BIOS (points W1 to W2)

And yes, remove all wire after you are done.

Thanx man, really nice guide...

But what will be the difference ?
wont i be able to flash the bios through evox later if i want another bios, if i just connect the
top jumper ? Or will it be no difference ?

...You can use Evox Dashboard v1.8.3285 when doing this ? You dont have to use Evox Dashboard v1.8.2812 ?

If you remove the wire on the top of the mobo and do not connect the bridges on the bottom, you will not be able to futher flash the bios using evox. I would recommend connecting the bridges (on the top and bottom) instead of using the W1 to W2 wire.

You have the option:  connect bottom jumper or wire from W1 to W2.  You will have to leave either in place after you do the Matrix TSOP flash if you wish to reflash the TSOP later through EvoX.  Remove wire from T1 after you are done.

This works fine w/ EvolutionX v1.8.2812

This will not work on v1.1 Xbox.  The special Matrix TSOP flash BIOS was written for v1.0 Xbox, so you will have to wait for one to be released that works w/ v1.1

one thing i would like to add, is my way of getting around the alignment problem. instead of soldering j1 together, i just soldered a wire to each pad, aligned my matrix the normal way, then clamped the wires together with an alligator clip (obviously a temp solution for someone who intends to remove the chip hehe).. just thought i'd throw my 2 cents in here.. dunno if anyone else has done this.. didn't really look..
