To be honest I would have went out and got the X2 but I bought the matrix before it was even released

Was going to spend the money and get the X2 but ugh I already spent 60 bucks on the matrix LOL.

Was fun messing with though and depending on the 1 meg add on maybe it will work for awhile.

I did remove the pogo's all together..kept them in a cup and saved em for some reason LOL
I would like to do the pin header on the matrix so it just connected right to the mainboard but I didnt have the parts needed

I tore apart an old pci card to get the pins to put on the xbox mainboard and the cable going to the matrix is just a ide cable cut down with a hack saw and a touch of super glue so it wouldnt fall apart LOL...
But hey! it works

Noticed the missing Tsop did ya?

I was cleaning the tsop up after doing the matrix trick to flash the tsop, I had soldered the last 3 pins together.
While using some solder braid I was cleaning away when my son came running up to the table and slamed into it

I was using a 20 watt needle point iron! Well the rest is history LOL it took out one complete side if the tsop.
ripped most of the pins out or bent them to hell, so now my xbox runs off the lpc mod LOL nooo more tsop

I just wanted to ask if you could post a step by step, I know for alot the pictures are enough, but not for me. I don't really get why you put some cables and then remove them. I would really like to do this mod.
