Hi I had the same problem with my 1.1 box.  When i installed the matrix it flashed green for a sec and then turns red.  After trying to get it aligned for hours  i almost wanted to buy a new one because  i thought i destroyed the box.  I tried to switch it to mode 2 and started the box again it works fine from then.

I had similar problems with my v1.1 box.  I found that the alignment function didn't work exactly as it says on the Xodus website.

I filled the LPC holes with solder, I would recommend this to anybody with the confidence to do it.  The pads are quite large really.  However, don't undertake this if you aren't confident soldering.

Once I had done this however I found the alignment function worked fine for me.  I also fitted a larger screw with a thicker thread because I don't feel the original screw is long enough.

If this is a v1.1 Xbox, and Matrix install with the switches both on?

It is supposed to flash green once or so, then just flash red.

This is completely normal and it is working properly!

I know, these tutorials and docs, unless you find the correct ones, don't really say that.

Page 7 of the v1.1 manual for Matrix install assumes v1.0 Xbox version.

But as the Exodus front page site says now, it is normal, but they continue to test!?!?!

Ok guys at Exodus, you should have updated that by now, everyones v1.1 with Matrix does this from what I can gather, as well as mine does!  How much more testing do you need to do so us v1.1 aren't scratching our heads for an hour because it doesn't match your documentation.

Hackers by the way are the worst documenters in the world in general.  Just care about programming and making it work, who cares if anyone can understand what they did (sorry rant...)
