Give more info.   Does the xbox boot? do you get audio/video?  Is the light on it green or flashing green/red?

QUOTE (lemonkey @ Dec 25 2002, 02:47 PM)
Hi,

I installed my matrix chip a week ago with very little problem.

Now today (Xmas day) it decides not to play any backups.

I have had no problems playing backups before but today it just went.

I have opened thye Xbox and turned it on. The Chip led is constantly green ( which is a good thing I think ).

I flashed it with evo 2.3 because I couldn't find a more up to date one. It is set at mode 2 dip switch 1 off and dip switch 2 on. I have not added that dashboard thing.

So could someone please help me !!

Thank You.

Le Monkey

when the chip is in "always on" mode. and some others it will be solid green even if it's misaligned.. i'd put it in test mode and see if it's flashing green (or doing whatever it does on a 1.1 if you have one of those heh).. it prolly slipped out of alignment

Cheers for the help guys,

It suddenly worked yesterday night without me touching it.

It just must be misaligned.

I shall go and get the new evox 2.5 and probably fix my chip in a bit more securely.

Thanks,
