Flash Matrix Through Xbox Dvd

i have been reading up on some of the tutorials for the past few hours and can't seem to figure out how i would do this.

what exactly would i have to do to get this working. would i have to burn the new bios to a cd/dvd with some other program that would launch it and install the new bios?
