Simple Question : Modchip
« on: December 22, 2002, 12:22:00 PM »

Right now, the Matrix can do everything that the Xecuter-2 can.  The 1meg BIOS may be needed in the future if M$ does something more to try to stop modders, making a BIOS larger than 256KB essential.

If you don't want to solder, you will have to wait for the Xecuter-2 to release the pogo adapter or just buy the Matrix now if you don't want to wait.

For the price and ease of use I would choose the Matrix and upgrade to the 1mb if need be in the future.

Features that mostly has to do with the bios that you choose and I bet my ass that the Evolution team will keep coming out with better and better features on there bios and dashboards. They also happen to support the Matrix.

matrix is coming out with a 1 meg solderless adapter that will cost less than 25 bucks - so you can be guaranteed 1 meg support if you buy the matrix now.
