what to do?

I hear that Extreme Mods has a good deal on X2s... wink.gif

Search for "matrix AND alignment" and you'll find that your problem is far from unique. I have yet to hear of a bulletproof solution, but some have had success with using a larger screw to hold down the Matrix. Other ideas: hot glue, solder, threats of violence...

you probably didn't put it on correct in the first place ( like the screw isn't tightned enough or the chip is sitting slightly bend ( meaning the side of d0 is a bit lifted

you can loose contact that way, that's why you have to press down on this area whilst tightening the screw.

you can always flash the onboard bios as well, but this shouldn't be neccessary if you install it correctly
