i read somewhere in the tutorials that when you flash the matrix, it needs to be 256k? but the programmer comes with a 1meg bio and you have split it up......er...or am i talking nonsense here?

help me out

do u know where i can get a bios for my matrix chip
and do u ahve to delete a bios on teh chip before installin a new one if so how do you delete a bios?

i put on evox d6 bios and nothing happened so i just want any bios that will work on a matrix and boot back ups

coz i flashed my matrix with evox 2.6 and its not working good (always blink red ) and i think my xbox is v1.0 coz it have a fan on the gpu next to the cpu

4976.02 is the latest X2 bios

If you are flashing RED then your chip is not aligned properly
Unless you are talking about the LED on the chip then you need to set a different MODE by moving the little Dip switches

Mode------Des.-------Dip 1------Dip 2
1-----------Off---------ON---------ON
2-----------On---------OFF--------ON
3-----------Swap------ON---------OFF
4-----------Flash------OFF--------OFF
