Error Trying To Program Matrix Chip
« on: December 12, 2002, 08:57:00 PM »

"error erasing chip" usually means that you need to squeeze the programmer and the chip together tightly with your fingers during the flashing process.
Give it a try. Just pinch them tightly together. Kinda hurts the fingers a bit, but it does work.

It's a common problem, and it's been asked quite a few times in these forums, so the answer was already there.

Your not kidding.  Thats the longest 3+ minutes I've ever endured.  Its one thing to squeze, its another to squeeze while having to kneel down and reach behind a microwave cart.  Arggrr.. I'm glad thats over with.

It's there; under troubleshooting.
