Never read about the problem before, sounds like some extra juice running  through the chip.

Not that it matters but you had the right bios for the machine 1.0 1.1 ect?

Easybuy seems like a great company at least I have been treated well. A few months mite be a problem? Try it you never know but 59.00 is about the cost of a game so worst case is just suck it up and get a new one.
