I have done 4 matrix installs.
also 6 tsop flashes with just mine alone, on other ones.

And I have NEVER had a problem with disalignment ONCE you get it on. If tightened down correctly it should NOT come off nor move period.

Anyway buy it you will like it.

mine works like a champ, I cleaned the PCB with Acetone and Screwed it in tight with a 1/2'' screw. never a problem since.

My cuz drove 200 miles for thanksgiving to my house in a big ass truck.......chip didnt move a bit cause once he got here, we hooked it up to my tv and gamed.

I don't have a Matrix, but thought I'd chime in here since everyone seems to only be giving positive feedback.

I've read a thread or two where someone complains about the matrix coming loose (on guy is resorting to soldering his on...). However, besides that, everyone who actually has a matrix seems pretty happy with them!

I personally went the homebrew method. If soldering your (precious :-) ) Xbox frightens you, Matrix is the way to go. If you're not afraid of weilding the hot iron, it wouldn't hurt to go the hardwired method with a different mod. Functionality wise.... you'll be getting pretty much the same thing no matter what you do!
