Matrix Losing Its Bios...
« Reply #15 on: December 03, 2002, 05:43:00 AM »

Just a couple of questions about soldering the Matrix:

1) You can't use the programmer if it's installed in the Xbox, right? Doesn't soldering the Matrix in make the programmer useless?

2) If that's the case, and the BIOS is lost on the Matrix, wouldn't you have to unsolder the thing to recover?

I'm not trying to rag on the Matrix, only trying to undertand the situation a little better.

Matrix Losing Its Bios...

Happened again this morning !

Definately an alignement issue and not a BIOS one.

All I did was lift the front of the xbox like 1/8" up and let it fall...
Powered on... working....

I don't feel like re-aligning the whole thing so I'll just use this "workaround" until I have to re-open the xbox...
