I ordered a matrix the other day with the new x2 bios for v1.1 already flashed on the chip. I also just went out (today) and traded in my xbox for a different one (one with a samsung) and it happens to be a version 1. I was wondering if I am still able to reflash this chip through evolutionX if it has the wrong version Bios on it. And if not, how else do i do it.

I haven't seen any places that pre-flash your matrix for you, but I guess you got yours from one of these places. All you have to do is erace the flash and re-flash it with a V1.0 bios via the programmer. You did get a programmer right?

Use WinLPC v1.0 to erase and re-flash your matrix using the programmer.
