Help! My Matrix Is Still Working After A Month!
« Reply #30 on: November 27, 2002, 07:46:00 PM »

Just a little help for anybody with an UNbroken matrix:

If you cannot take the constant green light anymore, use the walrus tusk (AND ONLY THE TUSK!) to break the little green LED and replace it with a red one to get this "Argh, it feel like my matrix is broken" feeling.
If you like to can also install a ridicoulously (wrong spelling?) expensive device that is bigger than your xbox to finally make it blink red/green and boot on and off 3 times whenever you start your xbox.

I happen to sell those unreasonably expensive devices. Just leave me a PM... I'd say we start at 300US$.

its not about ripping any one person off

its about ripping off a GNU design that is free to the public and then profiting from it (in a BIG way)

you can really tell you are not involved in any development work

LOL!! ROFL!!! THAT'S RICH!

If you were involved in development in any way (or, frankly, if you were over the age of 12), you'd know that happens all the time!

Someone comes out with a piece of software (hell... someone comes out with any type of product at all)... someone's always there to reverse engineer it, tweak it, make it a little better, then re-release it. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Geezus... if that pisses you off, I'd hate to see you when you're actually out in the real world.

Remember... there are no original ideas, only reworks of old ideas.

i bet you sat there for 10 minutes adding all those italics

you still dont fucking get it do you

if something is on GNU - you dont go making an exact copy of it - sticking some pogos and sell it for $59

you call me a 12 year old ?

better than being an ignorant retard

no one said your chips didnt work

what WAS said was that they are an overpriced CLONE of FREE code and data that costs $4 to make

oh happy day when you all realise that 256k is just not good enough (but of course you can butcher your onboard flash - I forgot about that)

but hey doesnt that include soldering ?

kinda rules you lot out then lol

I thought you were banned LOL smile.gif  Overpriced? So what we can afford them and it puts more mula into development. Sell  your cheapO and don't make your overhead then what? LOL Everything is over priced even sex. smile.gif

thats the point - they HAVE no development - the money goes right ionto easybuys pockets and the cutomers gets nothing back

join #xbox and #xbins and see how many come in each day saying they get no support from easy buy and they they waited for 4 weeks for a delivery

fucking retards man - you get ripped off and too ignorant to even admit it

you all deserve a half assed newbie mod like matrix  dry.gif

Only 15 more hours and those walrus tusks on ebay are mine baby!!!  Don't anyone even think of outbiding me because you won't!!!  But if the off chance someone happens to outbid me I guess I'll just have to shell out $300 to DaMulder for his device.

On a similar note, I did drop my matrix in a glass of beer for a couple hours.  I put it back in my Xbox and it still works.  I thought sure that would do the trick.  Oh well, still waiting for those walrus tusks.

back from target practice.  the matrix took 12 - 16 good solid hits from about 20 yards away.  brought it home tried to install it but it was a little bent out of shape.  with a little fudging with a couple pairs of pliers i was able to put it back in the xbox.  turned it on and it still works.  i'm calling easybuy and demand they exchange it for a broken one.

Bummer...  Nice try though.  By the way, what kinds of guns were you using?  Just curious...  You didn't happen to use a walrus tusk shooter did you?

laugh.gif .

Kidding aside, I think somebody better put a stop on this thread already, it's funny, but it's not helping anyone. This forum is about helping those who are in need. Getting rid of ridiculous and useless (no offense everyone, no pun intended either) topic should help newbs get a search result that are more usefull, making them advance one step further.

It's funny reading this but it's turning into something between duff and biosboy, and frankly it's turning ugly.

Anyone who agree should reply to this thread...just kidding  jester.gif

Jeez, Moderators can move this thread in the comedy section already, it so hilarious  laugh.gif .

You think we're kidding?  I am currently working on my masters thesis at yale university and this walrus tusk/matrix thing is my topic.  It could be a huge technological step forward to bridging the gap between ivory and electronics.  That is if I win the walrus tusks on ebay.  If not screw it all!
