Sounds like the chip isn't aligned properly.

Had the same problem, was a problem with the matrix not being lined up.
I am sure that is your trouble.

i used the holes to allign and it worked.

my friend used a multimeter to test the Gspot Pin with GND as a method suggested in he pics

it worked like a charm!

I’m having a issue also with flashing my tsop.. i did everything that needs to be done (with a twist) i join'd both the read/write (write if on the bottom) and then hooked up the wire that need's to be ground.. im not sure if this was a good idea of not i still havnt soldered the wire that needs to be soldered to the last 3 pins of the bios .. as im assuming this is the same as bridging the solder point below.
anywho.
My issue is that i have everything hooked up and working I’m just unable to boot the evoX from CDRW.. is this normal? was i meant to load evox from the HDD? if so that kinda sucks..

Let me know if I’m spose to be able to run evox from the cdrom or you can with this bios.. and that I was correct with bridging both read/write..

Anyone?
