I just got a Matrix and am having trouble flashing it. I'm not a noob and I know what i'm doing. I connected the flasher to the chip, put in the battery, and connected it to my comps printer port. When I put it in the printer port the LED turned red and I opened WinLPC. I tried erasing it and I got a "error erasing chip" message. Same thing when I tried to flash it. I tried reading from it, and it read and saved to a .bin file (and it took FOREVER), which is worrisome since it is unflashed. I also read in another thread about somebody else having the same problem. I tried playing with the write delay slider but it made no difference. Quite a few people seem to be having trouble with this but I haven't seen any fixes, if anybody can help, I'd be very grateful.

P.S. The .bin that it saved to when I read from it was indeed blank.

I've never had it flash correctly on the first try.  Once I swear it took 10 times of:  flash (error), erace, flash (error), erace (you get my point).  But it has always worked after a few tries (and yes, it does take it a while to flash).

It's taking FOREVER! But it's not that big of a deal because I only had to pinch it for a few seconds. After it started programming I let go and it was fine.
