Help! Device Not Found!
« on: November 05, 2002, 03:56:00 AM »

1) As soon as I stuck my programmer with matrix into my printer port the red light came on, it was constant. When I flashed it the light was constant aswell.

2) I used the default settings on the WinLPC program.

3) No I didn't check if any IRQs were being shared, since everything worked when I followed the manual.

4) Does not apply to me.

My programer is missing that diode as well, however I flashed without much difficulty. When it is plugged in to the lpt1 port (not using a cable of course) The led is solid red, and stays that way till you remove the programer. I used wmilk with the command line specified in the manual.
I would continue to play with the lpt port settings, as that is probably your problem and not the programmer. Also make sure you have a fresh battery in the programmer.
